Changing how your coach talks to you (tone)

Not everyone wants to be coached the same way. Some people want a gentle, encouraging voice; others want it firm and direct. PushMe lets you set your coach's tone, and it keeps that style in every message.

How to change your coach's tone

1. Open the coach chat in the app.
2. Tap the ⚙ settings icon at the top-right of the coach header.
3. Choose the tone that suits you.

Your coach applies the new tone from there on.

What tone does — and doesn't — change

• It changes the voice, not the plan. A gentler tone doesn't make your workouts easier, and a firmer tone doesn't make them harder. How hard you train is set separately — see Easier, base or harder: choosing today's intensity.
• PushMe is never harsh about your body. Whatever tone you pick, your coach won't shame you about your weight, your body, or a day you missed. Firm means direct and motivating — not mean.

Prefer a different coach?
